Foreverly is a re-creation of the classic 1958 Everly Brothers album Songs Our Daddy Taught Us by Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and jazz pianist and singer/songwriter Norah Jones. After Armstrong became obsessed with the Everlys' original set of traditional material -- which was itself a sidestep away from the mainstream for Don and Phil at the time of release -- he asked Jones whether she would like to get involved in the project.
